Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using ClockOn, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the software. It's that simple.

License Grant

Your one-time purchase of ClockOn grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the ClockOn desktop application on unlimited personal devices.

Your license key is for individual use. You may not share, resell, sublicense, or distribute your license key to others.

Payment and Refunds

ClockOn costs $29 as a one-time payment, processed securely through Stripe.

We offer a 30-day refund policy, no questions asked. If you're not happy, email us and we'll refund you via your original payment method.

Refunded licenses are deactivated. After a refund, the app will revert to its unpaid state.

Trial

ClockOn includes a 7-day full-featured trial that requires no payment information.

When the trial ends, the app moves to an unpaid state. There is no feature degradation — we'll just remind you to purchase if you'd like to continue using it.

Intellectual Property

The ClockOn desktop application is proprietary software. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from it.

The ClockOn Agent Protocol and SDKs (Python and TypeScript) are released under the MIT license. You're free to use, modify, and distribute them.

You retain full ownership of all your data, including agent outputs, task configurations, office layouts, chat logs, and API keys stored locally on your device. ClockOn claims no rights over anything you create or store.

Privacy and Data

ClockOn uses a zero-knowledge architecture. Your data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to ClockOn servers.

The only data ClockOn servers store is:

• A hashed version of your license key
• Your email address (encrypted) for license recovery
• Your Stripe customer ID for payment records

We collect no analytics, tracking, or telemetry by default. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

ClockOn connects to third-party AI providers — including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Ollama — using API keys that you supply.

ClockOn is not responsible for the availability, pricing, terms, or data handling practices of any third-party service. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of third-party AI providers complies with their terms of service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ClockOn is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no guarantees about fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or uninterrupted operation.

We work hard to make ClockOn reliable, but software has bugs. We'll fix what we can, but we can't promise perfection.

Limitation of Liability

ClockOn and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the software.

Our total liability to you is limited to the purchase price you paid — that's $29.

Specifically, we are not liable for:

• Data loss on your device
• API costs incurred through third-party providers
• Agent outputs or actions taken by AI agents
• Business decisions made based on agent outputs

AI Output Disclaimer

AI agent outputs displayed in ClockOn are generated by third-party language models (such as those from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google), not by ClockOn itself.

ClockOn does not review, filter, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any agent output. We're the office — not the employee.

You are solely responsible for reviewing and acting on any output produced by AI agents running in ClockOn.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClockOn and its developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the software, any agent outputs, or your violation of third-party service terms.

Termination

ClockOn may revoke your license key in the following situations:

• You request a refund or initiate a chargeback
• You violate these terms
• Your license key is being abused

License revocation does not delete any of your data — it's stored locally on your device and remains yours.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under Australian law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of ClockOn after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
